The module extcal doesn't seem to send any notification to user who are registered to be notified when a new event is added. I do not have notification problems with other xoops module (e.g. pddownloads, news). Someone can help me? Thank you.

I have two requests regarding the eXtCal module:
1. The recurring events are a very nice development in the module. However, due to holidays etc it is possible for events not to recur every week. For instance: An event takes place on Monday in the next 13 weeks but the first two weeks of March it does not take place. So the event has to take place for 15 weeks. Off course this is not correct because it shows two Mondays to much. Is it possible to change the recurring events to: takes place the next xx weeks, except on the nexts days.
2. Is it possible to add events into two categories? Where categories some categories can be used by the visitors and others only can be selected (or added) by admins or mods later on.
Thanks in advance for your reactions. And please show me how when some of the above questions are already solved.
I'm working with the latest version of Xoops and eXtCal.

You also have to modify the file :
mywebroot\class\textsanitizer\config.php
Add a configuration line in the array :
"gallery" => 1;
Hope it helps

I am running: XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.4.3 PHP Version 5.2.6
and have installed: eXtGallery Version : 1.0.8
and all is well. untill.......
1) I downloaded "extgallery-extention-hook.tar.gz" from the link here and uploaded the files included in that tar ball to:
mywebroot/class/textsanitizer/gallery/.
2)I then downloaded the lightbox2.04.zip.
from here: 3) all files in js/ folder went into: mywebroot/include/.
4) the css file went into: mywebroot/include/. also.
5) all the images from the image/. file went into: mywebroot/images/.
6) In the head of my mywebroot/themes/mytheme/theme.html, I added this
"<link rel="stylesheet" href="<{$xoops_url}>/include/lightbox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="<{$xoops_url}>/include/prototype.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="<{$xoops_url}>/include/scriptaculous.js?load=effects"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="<{$xoops_url}>/include/lightbox.js"></script>" (without the " at the beginning or end) I made sure this was BEFORE "<{$xoops_module_header}>"
7) I then cleared my mywebroot/xoops_data/caches/smarty_compile/. folder EXCEPT for the index.html file.
not working at all.
Any Clues?

I don't know why and how, but most of the time when I create an event (last version of extcal and xoops 2.4.2), i get an error, wrong date format.
I use xoops in french.
Any idea ?

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /htdocs/modules/extgallery/include/perm.php on line 1 Aucun Tout Erreurs (0) Requêtes (8) Blocs (0) Extra (2) Temporisation(3)
C'est de l'hébreu pour moi. Y-a-t-il une incompatibilité entre tadgallery et extGallery?
Merci de vos conseils.

I also have similar problems. When I try to access the extCal admin page under xoops 2.4.2 I get a white page. Debug reports the following:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare adminmenu() (previously declared in /home1/barrycne/public_html/aka/modules/extcal/admin/function.php:3) in /home1/barrycne/public_html/aka/modules/xoopsinfo/include/functions.php on line 96
None All Errors (1) Queries (17) Blocks (0) Extra (2) Timers(5)
Errors
Notice: Constant _DB_POSLINE_DESC already defined in file /modules/backup/language/english/modinfo.php line 24
If this cannot be fixed quickly I will have to try to change calendars. Zoullou?
